We're well underway in the electrical class now. We're just about finished with all the demo's and practices. So far we've covered charging, starting and ignition systems also security systems, battery testing and we've touched on fuel injection too! The first test was today and I scored a 92 on it. It's not what I wanted but it is what it is and I've just gotta learn from it.
Tomorrow we start our graded lab work. They're being very tight lipped about exactly what we have to do and when but they have told us we have to work on 3 bikes, a Dyna,Softail and a Touring bike. On each of those we have to do a charging, starting and ignition test for a total of 9 tests. We also have to do a test on the security system, battery test and a few other smaller tests.
The best part of the class so far, in my opinion, has been using the Digital Tech 2 system. I tell ya, that thing is cool! More to come as I finish some projects.
